Brad Pitt‘s former Glory Days costar Nicholas Kallsen was found dead in Thailand earlier this month from a suspected overdose. He was 48.
Kallsen’s death was announced on Facebook by Dorrian’s Red Hand founder Michael Dorrian. The restaurateur was an old friend of the actor, who frequented his bar on Manhattan’s Upper East Side.
“R.I.P. My old friend. Nick Kallsen. Sadly passed away earlier this month,” Dorrian wrote last week in a Facebook update. “Will always remember the good times, a big part of my past has gone and breaks my heart.”
Friends of Kallsen — who attended the prestigious Browning School in NYC — commented under the post, mourning his death. “Oh dear God, NO!!!! Poor Nick! He was so sweet,” one pal wrote. “Our own UES James Dean with that great old bike of his. I am so saddened to hear this. I am sorry, Michael.”

Kallsen starred on the short-lived Fox series Glory Days in the ’90s, alongside future A-lister Pitt. The series was canceled after six episodes, and Kallsen’s last film credit was in 1993 in the movie, The Seventh Coin. Kallsen also had a role in 1989 teen classic Say Anything…, in which he played the role of “Nose-Setter.”
Pitt and the actor were reportedly roommates before Angelina Jolie’s future husband nabbed his breakout moment in 1991’s Thelma & Louise.
