Two charged for threatening man with gun, bat at Indiana Co. car wash

State police in Indiana County say two men are behind bars after they allegedly threatened another man over the weekend at a local car wash.

Police say on Sunday, troopers were dispatched to the Wash Werkz, located along Oakland Ave., for a report of a disturbance involving a handgun and a baseball bat.

Investigators say the two men had reportedly confronted the victim while he was washing his car and began yelling at him.

Troopers noted that several other patrons witnessed the incident, with one of them stating that they "feared for their life."

Police say troopers were able to "intercept" the suspects as they attempted to flee the scene.

Authorities say the two men were identified as 21-year-old Gerald Jeffries III and 26-year-old Rashaun Delige, both of White Oak, PA.

Police say both men were taken into custody without incident and are being housed at the Indiana County Jail.

Troopers say a search of their vehicle led to the discovery of a loaded handgun, a baseball bat, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Police say both Jeffries and Delige face charges of illegal weapons possession, making terroristic threats and various drug-related offenses.
